I am a life long artist currently living in the northeastern state of NJ, USA. In 1995, I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design, in Sarasota Florida.  Never wanting to limit my explorations to a single medium, I work across several traditional  two and three dimensional materials to create my work. These include oil, acrylic, gauche, charcoal, pastel , pen and ink, clay, metal, poetry and literature.

The work ranges from personal, spiritual and nature inspired themes, the reading and content of fairy tales and history, feminism, and comments on the everyday lived experience of violence in the world, from war to America’s unique relationship and epidemic of gun violence.

Part of my time as an artist is spent teaching and critiquing in various environments, as well as working collaboratively with other artists, and art organizations.  A listing of shows can be found under my exhibition page.
